Muskie Days Parade

Muskie Days is a tradition you just can't miss!  Parade time is 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Line up begins at 5:00 p.m. in front of the Nevis School. No fee to register. All entries placed in line-up as received. No animal entries without prior permission.

    PARADE GRAND MARSHALS

    In early Nov of 2024, on a dark, brisk morning, twin brothers Will and JT Gagnon, risked their own personal safety while saving the lives of 3 teenage duck hunters as their boat sank in a local Nevis lake. The boys used their knowledge of hunting and skills learned from their dad and Boy Scouts, to safely transfer the sinking hunters to their own duck boat and return them to the shore. That day, Will and JT saved the 3 teenage boys, their dog and their equipment because of their courage, selflessness, small town values and skills. The boys were awarded Life Saving Awards from Hubbard County, the 2nd highest Boy Scout Award for Life Saving and the only 2024 MN Chief of Police Citizens Valor Award. Their very proud parents are Mark and Darcy Gagnon.
